Counseling Services
Wellness Consultations
There are many reasons people seek counseling such as to change behaviors, cope with major life transitions, enhance relationships, for general self-reflection, or to better manage stress, anger, depression, or anxiety. Therapy provides a safe and non-judgmental environment to explore reactions, thoughts, and feelings about life as well as yourself. We offer individual services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, as well as organized, themed group support. Click here to learn more.
Veritas is partnered with the Diocese of Columbus Office of Catholic Schools to offer wellness consultation sessions to faculty and staff where they can share and explore their immediate personal concerns, and where a counselor can then make recommendations, share helpful resources, and suggest possible next steps for self-care. Consultation & Training for Organizations
We also strongly believe in the benefits of prevention and education. Our clinicians are experienced with a variety of mental health and wellness topics and regularly present both regionally and nationally. We’re passionate about providing current research and information in all of our trainings. Potential audiences include schools (K-12), colleges/universities, faith-based organizations, community groups, businesses, professional and academic conferences. Clinical Supervision for LPC’s
We have four therapists at Veritas who are licensed, trained, and skilled to render competent clinical supervision for licensed professional counselors who are working toward obtaining their independent license. We are unable to supervise master’s level graduate students. Clinical supervision's ultimate goals are to ensure that the supervisee is using skills appropriately and properly handling a client caseload, all while being mentored by a seasoned professional. This leads to an increased skill set as well as improved outcomes of patient care.
